All standards, together with leading manufacturer catalogues, are available in 2D and 3D with PARTsolutions. The parts data is updated by the manufacturers, thereby ensuring that the high quality parts are always up-to-date. PARTsolutions operates with so-called native formats, i.e. with the respective CAD system format, thus eliminating data loss.
The intelligent parts management system PARTsolutions offers numerous standard and external parts, individual parts and complete modules. Numerous search options are available for easier manageability of the large data volumes, including a geometric comparison (patent pending) which enables the user to locate other parts with a similar construction. This in turn avoids the generation of cost-intensive duplicates.
For the first time, the intelligent part management system PARTsolutions makes it possible to expediently administer all parts within the company on a cross-departmental basis. In this way, the parts master and suppliers may be reduced. In order to ensure optimum integration of the system into the company process chain, various interfaces to the most common EDM/PDM and ERP/PPS systems have been created. In this way, data comparison with systems such as SAP or CADIM can further improve the process chain within the company. Furthermore, productivity-boosting applications such as PARTconnection for fast, uncomplicated generation of screw connections, PARTshaft for the generation of rotationally symmetrical bodies, PARTbom for the straightforward generation of bills of materials, PARTfem for FEM analyses, and much more besides, are also included.
